November In Review ;)

November has been a pleasant month for us. :)  We've officially had Lily a year now.  And in honor of that I have some pictures of her....

She loves her bed.  And we love that she loves her bed. lol

Ben bought her this stylish new sweater.  She wasn't too sure about it at first.  Maybe she was worried it made her hips look big. ;)

If there's a foof she's bound to be on it...We joke about her being the "Princess and the Pea".

Modelling her new winter coat. Again, she wasn't too sure about it at first.

For Thanksgiving we went to my great grandmother's house in Oklahoma and spent a few days there with her and my grandparents.

Ben hanging out at my great-grandma's

This is Sparky my great-grandma's hilarious little dog.  He'll sit like this for several minutes.  He will also "clap his hands" which is absolutely adorable.

I love collecting Pyrex bowls and Great-Grandma was very nice to give me this set. :)  I think they are really pretty.

Ben and I drove home yesterday and had a great time stopping at antique malls along the way.  We managed to make a 6 hour trip take 12 hours!  But it was so pleasant and relaxing!  We also found a few treasures. :)

I thought this pendant was pretty so I bought it to turn into a necklace.  I'm not sure how I'll do it just yet, but I do know that beads will definitely be involved!

We found these rice bowls at the same place I got the pendant.  Ben likes oriental style dishes and I thought they were cute. ;)

This bowl is another Pyrex bowl.  I love how it has a the little spout on it and that I will be able to use it without it fading.  Like I said before, I love collecting Pyrex so I was excited to find this one.

Now that we are home, I am once again settling in to working on Christmas gifts and can't wait to start decorating!  On the trip I made some tatted snowflakes, but I'm going to drape them over plain Christmas ornaments.  I'm not sure how many I'll be able to get done, but whatever I manage will be fine. :)

My tatting on the Christmas ornaments.

The day before Thanksgiving a new family member on Ben's side arrived.  Ben's brother and his wife had a healthy little boy and we are all very excited to welcome him!  Sadly we won't be able to see him in person for some time, but it's good to know he's here. :)

I hope your November has been as good as mine!

Relocated Blog

Ok, so I might seem fickle because I had one blog but now I have started a new one.  Fact of the matter is, my old blog was too confusing to use so I moved to a sight that seems to be much easier to figure out. lol

Life is going well here in Southern Missouri.  Fall has truly hit.  We have perfect weather some days and then other days it gets kind of nippy.  But I still love this season.

With Thanksgiving less than a week away, I'm feeling amazed at how quickly this year has gone.  We have been busy working on Christmas gifts and I can't wait to decorate for Christmas. :D  It's going to be fun!

I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving!
